He absolutely adores getting adjusted each week. Here’s how we got here….

I touched down in Corpus Christi with no plan other than to find affordable housing and get my son in an holistic and nature based school that would suit him. In my search for a school, I began to cry….. tears of overwhelm and frustration. Having to explain to person after person, administrator after administator that my son was brilliant but not talking yet, and yes we have done a year of in home speech therapy but still no verbal speech, and yes I have tried to get him tested but the waiting list in Houston was years long and we still have not been seen and yes I considered a public school to get him tested quicker. All I wanted was an answer. What was the root cause of this and what can I do in the meantime that I’m not already doing?

I am a firm believer in holistic healing and that getting to the root of any physical ailment (and societal ailment) is the way to true healing. I am not interested in surface level approaches that never touch the root. I have tried reiki and yoga to release trauma from my own body and heal….. but I wondered…. how can we release the stress and trauma from our little ones body? Is there a service like this for kids?

I followed a pediatric chiropractor on instagram and looked at a directory in her bio while I was in Houston. After looking at the Houston rates, I figured I needed to double my income to be able to afford the services. Now that I was in Corpus, something lit up inside me…. find one in the area! I called in desperation and they were able to get him seen almost the very next morning! They did an initial nervous system scan to see where the stress and trauma was lingering in his body. To our confirmation, most of it was around his neck area…. possibly causing the speech delay. They listened intently to my birth story with him and what I feel like is the origin of the trauma. They suggested him getting adjusted 3 times a week at a rate that was unbelievable to me. It was 100% do-able! I was in.

My son has been going 3x per week to get adjusted and has been showing improvements in speech, understanding and overall happiness. He adores getting adjusted and you can tell that he feels SO MUCH better afterwards.

They have a small play area for kiddos in the waiting room which he loves to go into either before or after his appointment. Members can walk in at any time during business hours for a quick adjustment. I would suggest this approach to any parent who has been searching and looking for solutions but non have been found…. For the parent who is looking to heal their child at the root and no longer waste time with only surface level solutions.
